Work sample Year 9 - 10 French: Mes grands-parents

This work sample demonstrates evidence of student learning in relation to aspects of the achievement standards for Year 9 and 10 Mes grands-parents. The primary purpose for the work sample is to demonstrate the standard, so the focus is on what is evident in the sample not how it was created. The sample is an authentic representation of student work and may contain errors such as spelling mistakes and other inaccuracies. In this work sample students: • interpret and analyse information and ideas in texts and demonstrate understanding of different perspectives • synthesise information and respond in Italian or English, adjusting language to convey meaning and to suit context, purpose and audience • use structures and features of spoken and written Italian to create texts • select and apply knowledge of language conventions, structures and features to interact, make meaning and create texts.
